- To assist the chaplaincy team in low-level interventions with patients and staff.
- Patient Facing – supporting patients with spiritual and pastoral conversations around their life journey.
- Responding to emergencies (end-of-life and critical situations)
- Staff well-being support debrief sessions with the support of the chaplain – may include typing of notes
- Preparing the chapel areas for events – services and funerals
- Tidying the room after use of the chaplaincy room
- Sourcing and creating resources to be used around the hospital
