- Observe residents when doing daily reviews of patients and discussing patients' care.
- Attend a board round to get an idea of how multidisciplinary teams communicate and work together to deliver effective patient care.
- Attend diabetes and endocrine clinics with consultants to learn about doctor patient interactions in managing chronic conditions and learn about communication skills in these consultations.
