Whilst on placement, individuals will be shadowing a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and other team members. Time will be split between observing surgery, out-patient clinics (orthopaedic and/or fracture clinics), and review of in-patients.
This should give the work experience candidate an appreciation of the typical working life of an orthopaedic surgeon. All patients facing activity will be subject to patient approval.
