The student will engage in the following activities:
1. Attend daily board rounds at 9 am and then at midday.
2. Accompany a senior doctor during board rounds from 9:30 – 11:30 hrs.
3. Accompany resident doctors and observe blood sampling, ascitic drains and lumbar punctures.
4. Accompany patients to the radiology department for USG abdomen, CT scans and MRIs.
5. Accompany consultants during senior reviews for newly admitted patients.
6. Provide a reflective statement at the end of placement to document learning.
