1. Learn various departmental functions in the care of patients.
2. Learn about various equipment used in surgery and endoscopy, basic sciences related to their use, and biomedical engineering.
3. Shadow senior doctors in ward rounds, outpatient clinics and endoscopy procedures.
4. Learn the concept of consent for medical procedures.
Please note that this placement will not include any time in theatres or observing surgery, as these activities are prohibited for work experience students within our Trust.
