Now Available! Work Experience E-Placements

COVID-19 has brought a lot of difficulties over the last year, including the inability for aspiring individuals to gain physical work experience placements. As a result of COVID-19, the NHS Talent Academy have suspended work experience placements due to COVID-19 restrictions across the health and care sector.
However, in order to overcome this issue the NHS Talent Academy have recently launched their new range of E-Placements! The E-Placements provide individuals with an insight into their chosen career path through a series of videos, tutorials, quizzes and virtual tours.
The E-Placement is designed to help individuals to develop a greater understanding of knowledge, skills and behaviours required for their chosen profession. This will assist individuals to make the informed choice about their future career direction.
So far, the E-Placements have received tremendous feedback, including comments, such as;
“I found this extremely informative. I like that is interactive i.e. there are quizzes which you can do.”
“Really good course! Very informative and has given me a real insight into what nursing is like! Thank you.”
“This E-placement has been excellent, it has allowed me to open up my options and to now feel more at ease knowing about Occupational Therapy. I have really enjoyed my time during this E-Placement and would strongly advise anyone else to use this platform.”
Currently, the NHS Talent Academy are offering E-Placements in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Pharmacy professions. However, the NHS Talent Academy are releasing more E-Placement opportunities over the course of 2021.
