PLACEMENT INFORMATION: This placement is designed to give students the opportunity to see hospital pharmacy in practice. During the placement, students will be able to observe the responsibilities of the hospital pharmacy team in priding patient care. Pharmacy is responsible for ensuring all medication in the Trust is used safely and delivered to the right person, in the right place, at the right time.
PLACEMENT DETAILS: Whilst on placement, individuals may observe Pharmacists, Technicians or assistants, in the ward based environment, main dispensary (Booking in, Coordinating, Dispensing and Checking) TTA roving, Technical Services, procurement and stores and in medicines information.
