Adult Care and Community Wellbeing is the part of Lincolnshire County Council responsible for supporting people with care and support needs, their families and carers to live as independently as possible with access to the support they need.
Whilst on placement individuals will be working as part of a team under the supervision of a Day Opportunities Coordinator and will participate in supporting customers with learning/physical disabilities, long term conditions or adult frailty to reach their full potential and increase their quality of life at home, work and in the community. Tasks and duties include:
Providing support to customers to meet their personal care needs, respecting the dignity and privacy of the customer.
Being prepared to work flexibly to meet changing needs of the customers in agreement with senior staff. Under direction of the Day Opportunities Coordinator and/or Worker assist and support customers to become active members of the community, through social networking, day to day activities and wider friendships.........
